are sudden heart palpitations a sign of heart disease

are sudden heart palpitations a sign of heart disease?
i get them daily now, almost once every hour. i dunno what it could be but i am pretty scared... well i dont drink any coffee, rarely actualy, and i dont have asthma, and im completely healthy, as far as i know. perhaps my suden change of diet has caused this? i have been eating less than before and lost about 10 pounds in a couple of months. could this be the reason?

It could be many things, from something really minor to something that you should definitely have checked out. Even caffeine can cause heart palpitations. I don't know you're medical history, but asthma medications can cause heart palpitations.
