Can someone, who has heart disease knowingly, run and hold a stressful job

Can someone, who has heart disease knowingly, run and hold a stressful job?
A person I know has heart disease. But this person leads a very active lifestyle and seems to take on many stressful situations. This person has lost weight and now runs. I don't know what stage or type this person is, but is it recommended to do such activities with many types of heart disease?

The term 'Heart Disease' covers a broad area of pathology. If this friend of yours sees their doctor on a regular basis and the doc is monitoring their health, then they can probably take care of themselves.

Most of the time it depends on the type of heart disease and how bad it is. My dad has a heart condition and he goes to the gym 3 times a week for 2 hours he has a somewhat stressful job and he is perfectly fine. Most of the time light exercise is recommend for people who have their heart under control. As long as your friend takes their meds, or whatever they need to take, and isn't stressed out to where their heart to react to the stress. They should be fine.

They CAN hold such a stressful job, but the real question is should they? Overall, stress is hard on your heart and body, however exercise is a great way to relieve stress and keep healthy. Everything in moderation. Only their Doctor can say that for sure
