Is it true that ticks are a warning of heart disease or brain stroke

Is it true that ticks are a warning of heart disease or brain stroke?
I have been told that when people get these ticks (in an eye, for example) it is a message from our body to slow down or else to suffer a heart attack or a brain stroke or something? How related are these to high stress and is there like a tea or something to relaaax???

Bogus. It is true that ticks can be a sign of high stress or exhaustion, or even just not getting enough sleep. But they aren't a sign you are about to expire from a heart attack or stroke. It just means you need to chill, or get some sleep. There are a lot of ways to relax, but taking things into the body isn't the way to do it. Learn to do deep breathing and meditate.

Everyone reacts differently to different stressors, this is also a symptom of tourettes syndrome. This could also just be some nerve issue on that side of the face. Best bet is to see a doctor either one is going to require a doctor to treat. better sooner that later

Do you mean "Blepharospasm or Tourette syndrome"? A blepharospasm, is any abnormal contraction or twitch of the eyelid. Gilles de la Tourette syndrome is a disorder of the nervous system that causes a person to make repeated and uncontrolled (involuntary) movements and sounds (vocalizations) called tics. The disorder is commonly called Tourette syndrome. A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is an episode in which a person has stroke -like symptoms for less than 24 hours, usually less than 1-2 hours. A TIA is often considered a warning sign that a true stroke may happen in the future if something is not done to prevent it. There is no scientific evidence in support of your statement.

Tics or muscle twitching is most often related to muscle strain in the area - especially the eye and when you stop working at a computer screen and look far away for about 5 minutes, the twitching often stops. This can also be a sign that you need your eyes checked and maybe eyeglasses or a lens change. This has nothing to do with a heart attack or a stroke. Stopping what you are doing when they occur is the treatment of choice.
