can working out and lifting weights 3 hours a day cause heart disease or failure?
IM 13 and i have this daily routine.

im not sure but i really think not, but 3 hours a day, come on..

working out is good for your heart. your heart is a muscle and when you get your heart rate up you are working it out, making it stronger.

No, it shouldn't cause heart disease. But If you are lifting weights for 3 hours you are are not training at the right intensity. If you train that long your body will start burning muscle for fuel. If you can go on for around 3 hours then the weights that you are lifting are too light. Try finding a weight that you can only lift maximum 20 times. And keep going until it becomes easy then increase the weight. Try to keep your workouts between 40 -60 minutes Also, if you want to gain muscle/weight don't forget to eat a lot of lean protein like chicken and fish and get lots of rest. Your body needs time to rebuild the muscle. Try training every second day
