do congenital heart disease patients require more than one cardiac cathetization

do congenital heart disease patients require more than one cardiac cathetization?
I'm researching for a book i am writing about a sufferer of congenital heart disease and i was wondering if people with this condition have more than one cardiac cathetization. Any information for people with CHD would be much appreciated, even if it is irrelevant to this question. Thankyou. x

Sometimes, if the doctor will do one when ever he thinks necessary, and it really depends on the heart condition. They can use a cardiac cath to do minor surgeries, they can use it do diagnose heart conditions and they can use it to check if the heart is still ok(like it can check the heart valve pressures and use it to figure out how bad the aortic valve disease is) So it really depends on the heart problem, but yes some kids will need more then 1 cath, some may need none Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions(go through my profile to email me) because im 16 years old and i was born with CHD, i was born with Aortic stenosis, aortic regurgitation, bicuspid aortic valve an an enlarged aorta .i also go to a camp for kids with heart disease so i have many friends with CHD and i do a lot of research
