I am 58 years old and started having these skipped beats around the time I had my first child at age 29, and have had them ever since. I do suffer from AF, but my cardiologist says that the premature beats have nothing to do with my AF and are actually common and not necessarily cause for alarm. He doesn't treat them with medication unless they get bad enough that they interfere with every day life. If you have gone to the doctor and they found nothing wrong, all you can do is deal with it. The doctor might prescribe some type of medication to keep them under control the the side effects of these medications are numerous and dangerous.

Could be a disorder or disease. Usually there are many meds that help regulate heart beats. Seems like the wiring isnt quite right. Many meds can help. Talk to a cardiologst that will splain everthing to you. YOu will get much better answers than on Yahoo! . Some are totally without consequence and some can develop into more severe rhythm disorders..
