MEGADETH - ALL body systems are affected by heart disease because the heart pumps blood to EVERY ORGAN AND CELL in the body. If the blood supply is inadequate all systems will suffer.
2 :
Heart disease affects the entire body because it affects the blood that the body uses to stay healthy.
3 :
Stroke, renal failure, phlebitis, edema, pulmonary hypertension, etc.

Rarely are the causes of heart disease (plaque) isolated to the heart. PAD (peripheral arterial disease) narrows the arteries that supply blood to the extremities causing pain, neuropathy and in extreme cases amputation. Stroke is usually caused by plaque formed in the carotid arteries supplying the brain. Renal arteries can be clogged with plaque also, damaging kidneys. So while elevated bad cholesterol causes plaque formation in the arteries supplying blood to the heart, blood supplies to every organ can be compromised as well if plaque builds up in the arteries supplying them.

The kidneys and/ or liver are usually affected as well as other organs by heart disease. If the circulation is slowed in the kidney area, the body will get over volumed(excessive fluid) taxiing the heart to work harder
