See a doctor for any chest pain, and get you pain investigated it's a complex matter. Best Wishes. Mars Mission.

No it is not a heart disease. The symptoms " I am having chest pain just like needle poking and a little difficult breathing at some times" and also " --but chest and short of breath is the only symptoms I am suffering." these symptoms indicate a great Homoeopathic remedy "Bryonia Alb - 30" which will act as miracle. But it is better to consult a Homoeopath for rapid, gentle and permanent cure

see your cardiologist. he will have the answer for you. if there is a chance that you can, he will go over you stem to stern to make sure everything is o.k. you wouldn't want to just get advice here, think what it would mean for your team mates and coaches, after being close friends with you if you should die, because you didn't use your head and see the doctor.

You should speak to him and find out if there is a definite diagnosis of any heart conditions. Then go to your doctor and see if there is any need for testing now, such as echocardiography or genetic testing. Otherwise there may be need for some testing when she is a little older.
2 :
Teach her to eat right. Most people have heart problems becuase they eat wrong. Tell her about her family history so she can be aware of her risks.
3 :
I think you should, for peace of mind. Encourage her to lead a healthy life-style, and she should be okay. You shouldn't worry though, hopefully she's got your genes, and she's still young

Not usually. All of your health history is taken into consideration every time that you have anesthesia.
2 :
The specific preoprative objectives for patiants undergoing procedures with cardiac disease are not similar those for patient without cardiac disease. High risk patient probably benefit from optimal preoprative antiischemia and antihypertension therapy as well as pharmacological psychological attemps to decrease anxiety, which could evoke sympathetic nervous system activation with accompaying increase in systemic blood pressure and heart rate. The goal of drug administration is to produce maximum sedation and amnesia without undesireable degrees of circulatory and ventilatory depression

Why do Indians suffer from higher risk of Heart Disease

Why do Indians suffer from higher risk of Heart Disease?
I've realised a majority of my relatives have passed away from Heart Disease/Attack. Not just to overweight ones even skinny ones. Is it to do with that in India in the past they had to walk for miles and so had healthier hearts but now our hearts dislike the lack of exercise we used to do and dislike the food we consume? If this is true is there any changes I can make, not genetically but environmentally to decrease a chance of heart related problems? I exercise 5 times a week

Is heart disease *mostly* based on genetics or lifestyle

Is heart disease *mostly* based on genetics or lifestyle?
Heart disease runs in our family and it seems like half of my family has a storke or HA by the time they're 75. Most of them have lived a fairly healthy lifestyle.

Lifestyle. 99% Just because you have a genetic disposition to heart disease it DOES NOT mean you will get it. A good, healthy lifestyle will stop the problem ever arising and let nobody tell you otherwise. Genetics in relation to heart disease is a complete excuse.

A way to cure all illness, (obesity, diabetes, heart problems, early stages of cancer, etc), is raw vegan. This is not a bland diet, by the way. check it out here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3xOU2tLl7g that vid will change your life and way of thinking.

in my mind i think 90% is lifestyle
